Photo Rejuvenation (IPL)

IPL Photorejuvenation using Palomar light-based technology. This procedure is quick, safe, and without downtime. IPL treatments provide unparalleled results for removing sun and age spots, benign brown pigments, broken capillaries, and redness. A series of 4 to 6 treatments every 2 to 4 weeks is recommended for optimal results. After just a few treatments you will have fresh, clear, younger appearing skin.

What is an IPL and what does it treat? IPL stands for Intense Pulsed Light and is proven technology for eliminating unwanted brown spots from aging and sun damage, rosacea, redness, and broken capillaries. Each session will produce a gradual improvement in your skin tone, with remarkable results after 4 to 6 sessions.

What areas can be treated? IPL Treatments can be used on any part of the skin. They are especially effective for improving the appearance of the face, neck and chest.

What happens during an IPL Treatment? Each treatment takes approximately 30 minutes. Minimal discomfort can be expected, but topical anesthesia is available as an option. Immediately following a treatment, the skin may appear red and flushed and brown spots will generally appear darker. All of these changes gradually fade over a period of a few hours to a few days.
