It blocks the transmission of nerve impulses to the injected muscles and thus reduces the activity of the muscles that cause these stubborn wrinkles to form.

Within days you may see a marked improvement in facial wrinkles. Lines continue to improve for up to a month.

How long does Botox® last? Results vary but treatment with Botox ® can last from three to six months. If you discontinue treatment, the facial wrinkles will gradually return to their prior appearance.

Who should not use BOTOX® Cosmetic? Botox ® should be avoided if individuals have a known hypersensitivity to the ingredients, an infection at the proposed site of injection, or preexisting neuromuscular disorders such as ALS, myasthenia gravis or Lambert-Eaton syndrome.
