Ava Integrative Med Spa & Wellness is a new concept in health care, featuring a comprehensive wellness medicine facility that provides an integrated approach to medical and cosmetic issues in patients.
We believe in giving back to our local community, schools, and charities. We contribute to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital, Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network, Tri-City hospital, local public schools, support our troops' families and help with other fundraisers.
 Dr. A. Audrey Stanley, M.D., M.P.H., is founder and medical director of Ava Integrative Med Spa & Wellness. She is a board certfied physician with extensive knowledge in Dermatology, Cosmetic Medicine, Medical Acupuncture and over 12 years experience as a physician. Her friendly and down to earth attitude makes people feel like they've known her for years. She is very personable and professional. She doesn't rush you at all.
She was raised in San Diego and graduated from University of San Diego, Ca. She then moved to New Haven, CT where she completed her studies at Yale University. She met her husband in Maryland and moved to Louisiana where she was an Asst. Professor at Louisiana State University School of Medicine. She is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American Academy of Medical Acupuncture, and was voted Great Woman of the 21st Century due to her mastery of Medicine & Acupuncture.
Her mother's devastating battle with Alzheimer's Disease brought her back home to San Diego 5 years ago. Her mother lost that battle in September of 2009. In her spare time she enjoys painting, making jewelry, and spending time with her family and 2 daughters.
Dr. Audrey Stanley uses her talent and expertise to combine the art and science of medicine to help her patients look and feel better about themselves.
 Dr. Ken Stanley, M.D., D.A.B.F.M., is an excellent board certified physician with over 14 years experience helping patients with medical weight loss. He is a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians. His caring and calm demeanor puts patients at ease instantly. He is a great listener who takes time with patients.
His friendly bedside manner has won over many patients and physicians alike. He was voted best doctor by other doctors in Louisiana several times where he was in private practice for many years prior to moving to San Diego.
He relocated here 5 years ago to be closer to his wife's family whom are experiencing a devastating battle with Alzheimer's Disease. He is a father to 2 girls. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, reading and spending time with his family.
